Professor McNally and the team have established capability where nanomaterials, such as carbon nanotubes, graphene and their 1D/2D inorganic analogues, are incorporated into bulk polymer systems and subsequently processed to produce multifunctional composites that have application in a broad range of industries, such as telecommunications, electronics, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, automotive, security and medicine.
