Dr. Seo is a professor of Materials Science and Engineering at Korea University in Seoul, Republic of Korea. He obtained his Ph.D degree from the University of Tokyo in 2010. After brief stints as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Tokyo and Tokyo Medical and Dental University, he worked as a research and education staff (assistant professor) at Institute of Biomaterials and Bioengineering (Tokyo Medical and Dental University) from 2011 to 2015. He was appointed to the Korea University from 2015 as an Assistant Professor, and promoted to Associate and Full Professor in 2017 and 2022, respectively. His research interest is about synthesis and application of the supermolecule-based elastomer, specifically interested in mechanical and electrical properties of a networked polymers.
