Abstract:
The present study delves into the reinforcing effects of silica in styrene-butadiene rubber (SSBR) compounds, focusing on both the beginning/early/late modulus build-up behavior.Understanding the underlying mechanisms of silica flocculation, silica-silane coupling, cuing and marching modulus influence on the viscoelastic properties of rubber. It is pivotal for optimizing tire tread performance and durability. This research employs a combination of experimental techniques to elucidate the complex interactions between silica, silane, and SSBR during vulcanization.
